Interactive boxes

I worked with a team at the Digital Anthropologie Lab at University of the Arts London to create a collection of interactive boxes. These boxes were designed using the Layar app, which combines AR technology and interactive print. Every side of the boxes had a unique image that could be scanned by visitors of the event using the Layar app on their phone or tablet. Each unique image would take you to a particular link which would display different students work. We also included a sensor inside the boxes to track the interaction and orientation data from each box, which would inform the team as to which boxes and sides were receiving the most attention from visitors. I also created a bespoke 3D printed platform to hold the sensors and battery on the interior of the boxes and worked with a colleague on a method to collect the data from the sensor.
