Game Design

I have been working on a game with a group of artists that create unusual and unique characters using costume and performance. I have used these characters and the environments that the artists create for their performances as the conceptual basis for a game. I modelled the characters, created texture, bump and normal maps, applied rigging with attention to skin weighting, and configured animations before exporting ready for the Unity game engine. The environments were modelled and textured in Maya and applying rendering, lighting and shadows with attention to the Scriptable Render Pipeline settings in Unity.

Within Unity, I have started configuring the cameras, player controllers, colliders, constraints, physics and triggers to facilitate the interactions required for gameplay.

A demo of the game has been exhibited at an event at Fold London and screen captures have been used in a promotional video.

Software: Maya, Unity
